It is believed that the Griffin Bruxellios has descended from a soft-coated Belgium street dog and crosses with the Affenpinschers. They were breed for the purpose of keeping the stables free of rats and have many charactoristics of terriers. Whilst this dog's personality is one of love and sensitivity, it can do a turn around and become stubborn and demanding on the other.
